I met Jack on tour where he gave me a "challenge coin" that I still keep in the kidney pocket of my leather jacket. He spent 22 years on active duty in the Air Force where he guarded nuclear weapons, coordinated meteorological operations, and navigated the mental health infrastructure there. He has an MA in European history and wrote a thesis on aviation and the theoretical application of air power in WWI and WWII. He also has four (4!) other degrees. This is one of my favorite conversations to date and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
